WEMO iPHONE APP DEVICE REVIEW
This is a pretty simple, pretty useful Wemo app device with a lot to like about it and very little to complain about.
Short story–We think it’s well worth it.
Pros
1) Simplicity of set-up. It took about a minute to set up. Plug it in, plug your device in, download the free app from the App store, connect w/ my IOS device to the Belkin wireless via settings, then open the App. Done. Really. That simple. It’s really, almost literally idiot-proof. We idiots have to love that.
2) Turning on and off is a simple button and works fine
3) You can control multiple switches at once (I only have one so haven’t tested this)
4) You can set up “rules”–for instance, a specific time to turn your device on or off. The rules allow for lots of schedules
5) Can be used from remote locations via cell or wi-fi
6) You can grow the “family” by adding more switches and motion sensors (again, just have the one so haven’t tested)
7) Perhaps the biggest pro was when we first used it I was able to confuse my wife when she came home and couldn’t figure out why the light kept going on when she turned it off and turned her back on it (I was upstairs). Oh, the hilarity . . .
Cons
Really only have one so far–the device is so big it will most likely (almost definitely) take up your entire outlet. Not a major issue if you want to use a power strip, but something to consider.
It’s not Über sophisticated and sure, you could set up something better for motion sensors, timers, home automation, etc. But what the app device is cheap and simple. We’ll use it very simply to turn lights on and off while on vacation so things are happening randomly rather than on a timer. We will give it more time to see how it pans out, but we assume at this point we’ll add at least one more switch and one sensor.

Simple and effective,
This product works as advertised. It is just a relay that kicks off after the set amount of time. I like it because:
* It’s dead easy to use
* It draws no power when off
* It is small and nice looking enough that you don’t mind leaving it in a power socket
* It’s rated for 15 amps, as much as any outlet can deliver, so you don’t need to worry about whether you’re plugging in something that could burn it out
I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because I’d like more timeout choices than 1/2 hour, 3 hours and 6 hours.

A Simple, Well-Designed, Easy To Use Timer Switch,
With many “Conserve” products, Belkin doesn’t necessarily create a brand new concept with their creation, but they excel in design and execution!
I am a fan of their remote-switch “Conserve” power strip, and I love this little gadget too.
It’s essentially just a timer for an outlet, not unlike the existing products you can find on Amazon, but Belkin greatly simplified the controls, and made it so the power timer is on-demand instead of on a schedule.
Unlike the relatively complicated dials of some other timers, the controls on the Belkin Conserve Socket are pretty much idiot proof. There’s a switch on the site that lets you choose from one of three time increments (1/2 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours), then a button on top to start the timer. It then shuts itself off when the time elapses. That’s it! Easy.
It’s perfect for keeping a lamp on while the kids go to sleep, for charging gadgets where you want to reduce phantom draw, and this Christmas, I think I’m going to try it out for attaching my Christmas tree lights (turning the lights on only when we want to for a time).
Overall this is a nice, simple (and inexpensive!) product.

LUCKY YOU ! Wahh, my grama never gives ME Hollister stuff. I don’t like it much either but it would be loads better than, um, granny underwear (no pun intended, i’m serious). I love her, but i would be SOOOOOO happy if i didn’t have to open granny underwear in front of my largely MALE cousins. I digress. Anyway, maybe you should donate them to Goodwill, some kid out there would love to have awesome polos like that. Maybe you can compromise with your grandma and ask her to get you black hollister polos. That would be preppy and emo. Or just tell her that you like your style just the way it is (without being mean, of course) and tell her thank you for the gift. Then ask her to take you shopping for dark-colored clothes!
being emo is a feeling… it doesnt mean you have to dress in all black. You could wear a say single colored polo with spiked hair and the straight legged pants and a studded belt. And if your a girl then you can wear back beads and a a black cami under it. Its good to have variety. I wear a prep shirt but then put on my zebra vans. Its cute to mix and match. And if your a guy its super hot to have a hollister polo with the long emo hair flipped to the side and then the girl jeans.
ive seen some “emo” kids where hollsiter polos, i mena its not like a regular teeshirt that says HOLLISTER going acroos the front, i dont really like polo’s but thats nto so bad, im sure u could change it up with accesories to fit ur style
or else just return them..if u dont have the recipt and u dont want to ask her for one just bring them back without the recipet, get a credit and get a pair of jeans or shorts or some kind of bottom with the money, because im sure you could find denim to fit your style.
my grandma got me a g-unit purse for chrisitmas and its like extremely blingy with 50 cent written everywhere and rhinsstones and omg, its not my style at allll. i kept it though, but i never use it, i woulda returned it for a credit but i dont know where she got it, plusss i feel bad returning it lol. so now im stuck with this purse that i’ll never ever ever use. so i would just ask for the recipt or something its no use keeping something u really hate.
Take them back and use that money for other clothes id like, and tell your G-MA(bahaha funny), sorry and its just not you!!
Make her happy and wear them. She probably spent a lot of money on it.
